Reports to: Operations Manager / Managing Director
Hours: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About Us
Desktop Promotional Products is a long-established, family-owned business specializing in branded merchandise and corporate promotional solutions. With a loyal client base and a strong reputation, we’re entering a phase of operational transformation and growth — and we’re looking for a new Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to lead that change on the ground.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a smart, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to take full ownership of our warehouse operations. This is a hands-on, multi-tasking role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of organising, optimising, and independently managing all warehouse activities.
The successful candidate will eventually replace our long-standing warehouse team member, who is transitioning to retirement. You’ll work closely with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure a smooth, accurate, and professional flow of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of Warehouse Operations
Manage all inbound and outbound goods
Coordinate complex dispatches including multi-part/kitting jobs
Arrange courier pickups and track shipments
Ensure timely and accurate packing and dispatch of orders
Stock Management & Organisation
Conduct regular and accurate stocktakes
Maintain correct stock locations and warehouse layout
Reorganise storage systems for optimal efficiency — independently, without sales team involvement
Identify and resolve stock discrepancies
Logistics Coordination & Resource Management
Coordinate third-party help (e.g., Wesley Mission, Airtasker) for large or specialist jobs
Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and running efficiently at all times
Technology & Admin Tasks
Accurately identify incoming stock and match to job orders
Use Microsoft Access (training provided) to navigate the production system, print packing slips, and update dispatch info
Upload product images and stock details to our internal webstore
Photograph goods on arrival and tag appropriately for team reference
Key Skills & Attributes
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues independently
Organised, methodical, and self-motivated — takes initiative without needing to be micromanaged
Comfortable using basic business software (Microsoft Office, Access, CRMs, etc.)
Good written and verbal communication
Can think creatively and problem-solve, especially when dealing with production/dispatch bottlenecks
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or dispatch coordination role preferred
Ability to take professional-quality photos a bonus
What We Offer
Full-time role with job stability and progression opportunity
Supportive, family business environment with space to grow
Training and onboarding provided for systems and products
Opportunity to shape how our warehouse operates long term
To Apply
Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why this role interests you. We’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves, take ownership, and bring fresh energy to the business.
