About the role:

As a Christmas Casual Customer Support Consultant, you’ll be the friendly voice (and live chat legend) helping customers with questions, purchases, and deliveries. Every call, email, and chat is your chance to create a 5-star customer experience.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Answer real-time enquiries via phone, email, and live chat
• Share your knowledge and impress customers with top-tier service
• Hit weekly targets for calls, chats, sales, and customer satisfaction (with bonus potential!)
• Troubleshoot issues and connect customers with the right solutions
• Collaborate with manufacturers and our internal teams
• Take part in daily training to boost confidence and product knowledge

Role Conditions & Requirements
To make sure we can deliver the best experience for our customers during peak season, we’ll need you to:

• Be available from November 2025 – February 2026, with no planned leave during this period
• Commit to a minimum of 6 shifts per fortnight under casual conditions
• Be available to work all weekends and public holidays across Christmas and New Year
• Work 8-hour shifts, scheduled in line with the operational needs of the Engine Room

What you'll bring:

• Permanent, unrestricted rights to work in Australia
• Experience in retail, sales, or customer service (and a knack for connecting with people!)
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable juggling calls, chats, and emails
• Passion for delivering standout customer experiences
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Bonus points if you know a thing or two about electronics or whitegoods — but if you’re a quick learner, we’ll teach you!
