About the opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Officer to play a lead role in progressing the disposal of surplus land and related asset management activities within the Remote Area Energy Supply (RAES) and Assets & Facilities team.

Key Selection Criteria:
Please only address the dot points listed below in your application
Demonstrated experience in managing or supporting asset-related projects, with a particular focus on surplus land disposal or asbestos management, including compliance with government policy and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in coordinating and delivering projects, including procurement, property disposal transactions in collaboration with Renewal SA, managing accurate financial and financial costs for property and accommodation projects, minor accommodation / workstation relocation projects as assigned
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and managing sensitive or confidential matters with discretion.
Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction, managing multiple priorities, exercising judgement where procedures are not clearly defined, making recommendations and identifying solutions to support the leadership team.
Highly Desirable: Knowledge, understanding and/or prior experience applying the Premier and Cabinet Circular PC 114.
Qualifications:
Desirable: Project Management qualification
Remuneration:
ASO4 salary range $76,561 - $80,256 per annum + superannuation
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week
Special Conditions:
This is a Term Contract of 12 months.
Intra state and interstate travel may be required.
Applicants must either hold current First Aid and CPR certification or be willing to undergo training.
This position is classified as a designated position and as such, appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance screening check.
