About the role
McGuire Hotels' is seeking a Casual Bottle Shop Staff to join our Colmslie Hotel team. This casual position will involve providing excellent customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our on-site bottle shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and experience in a similar role.
What you'll be doing
Assisting customers with product selection and providing recommendations
Accurately processing sales transactions and providing outstanding customer service
Restocking and maintaining product displays to ensure the bottle shop is well-presented
Adhering to all relevant licensing laws and company policies
Contributing to a positive team environment and assisting with other duties as required
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the hospitality industry
Minimum 1 year of experience in any retail environment is required
An enthusiastic and friendly personality with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and staff
Responsible and reliable approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
RSA certification (or willingness to obtain one)
Australian work rights are required for this position
Basic awareness of craft beer products is required
