​We are offering a casual opportunity for a highly motivated, reliable, and physically fit Junior Trade Assistant to support our qualified HVAC technicians in the field.

​This role starts on an as-needed, casual basis and serves as a trial period. For the right candidate who demonstrates consistent reliability, exceptional work ethic, and a genuine commitment to the trade, there is a clear goal: to transition into a permanent full-time HVAC Apprenticeship.

​Key Details:

​Hours: Flexible and casual; hours will fluctuate week-to-week based on project workload and team needs.

​Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on the relevant award/age and experience level.

​Work Base: You will be required to commence and finish work each day from our office located in Hamilton Hill.

​Key Responsibilities

​Your primary role is to provide essential, hands-on support to ensure our field technicians can work efficiently and safely:

​Logistics & Base Duties: Report to and finish work from the Hamilton Hill office daily. Assist with the loading and unloading of company vehicles with tools and materials.

​Site Support: Provide physical labour on site, including carrying and positioning equipment, safely accessing roof spaces, and assisting with basic tasks like drilling holes and running cables.

​Organisation: Keep company vehicles, tools, and the Hamilton Hill workshop clean, tidy, and organized.

​Maintenance Support: Assist technicians during preventative maintenance checks (e.g., cleaning filters, removing and refitting grilles).

​Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all Work Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and follow instructions given by the supervising technician.

​Essential Requirements (Must-Haves)

​White Card (Construction Induction Card): Must be current and valid.

​Driver's License: Must hold a valid Driver's License and have reliable transportation to and from the Hamilton Hill office.

​Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and performing tasks in various environments (roofs, ceilings, tight spaces).

​Attitude: Must be highly reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a serious commitment to learning the HVAC trade.

​Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)

​Previous experience in a trade, construction, or labouring environment.

​Basic knowledge of tools and site safety procedures.
