About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic workshop team. You’ll be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical components and machinery in a safe and efficient manner. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly and fitting of mechanical components and equipment
• Interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Operating hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
• Conducting quality checks and ensuring adherence to safety standards
• Collaborating with other team members and supervisors to meet deadlines
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

About You:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
• Proven experience in a workshop or similar mechanical setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Overhead Crane ticket (desirable, not essential)
