The Opportunity

Join the team at BASS Construction Services & Plant Hire as a Watercart Operator. This casual role is based in Hexham, NSW 2322, and also one available at Singleton and will see you playing a vital part in the company's construction projects.

We currently have 2 roles available

1 x night shift operator at Hexham / Heatherbrae 18:30pm till 05:00am night shift rates apply Monday till Friday

1 x day shift operator at Singleton Bypass. 6:30am till 5:30pm Monday to Friday some Saturdays also available

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate and maintain a watercart to provide dust suppression and surface water management on construction sites

Ensure the watercart is well-maintained and in good working condition at all times

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures on the construction site

Liaise with site supervisors to understand water requirements and prioritise tasks accordingly

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Watercart Operator, ideally within the construction industry

Strong understanding of water management and dust suppression techniques

Excellent safety awareness and the ability to follow site procedures

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Reliable and punctual, with a flexible approach to working hours

Hold a valid HR Driver's Licence

Hold a construction white card
