About the role

As a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting and decorating services to residential and commercial clients throughout Brisbane. This position offers competitive rates and the opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable company in the local area.

What you'll be doing

Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, sanding, and priming as required

Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other decorative finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces

Perform preparations tasks such as filling holes and cracks, sanding - preparation is key in our business.

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and to the customer's satisfaction

Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice

Maintain a clean and tidy work environment

Comply with all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a painter and decorator, ideally working in the residential and commercial sectors

Skills: Proficient in the use of painting and decorating equipment, excellent attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities

Qualifications: A relevant trade qualification or certification in painting and decorating

Personality: Excellent customer service skills, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Atributes: Someone who is reliable, highly skilled and highly productive with an eye for detail and takes pride in the work they produce.
