About the role

We are seeking a full-time Qualified Painter to join our team at Pro apply painting & decorating pty ltd' in Loganlea, QLD, however the work is based throughout Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality painting and decorating services for residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming

Apply a variety of paints, stains, and other finishes to a range of surfaces

Use specialised painting equipment and tools to achieve a professional finish

Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the client's satisfaction

Maintain a safe and organised work environment

Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in painting and decorating, such as a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating

Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified painter, preferably in a commercial or residential setting

Proficient in the use of painting equipment and tools, including sprayers, rollers, and brushes

Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver a high-quality finish

Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work well in a team

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
