About the Role

As Head Chef, you'll oversee all kitchen operations including menu development, stock control, rostering, and food safety compliance. You'll lead and inspire your team, maintain high standards, and bring fresh, modern ideas to the menu. This role requires a balance of leadership, creativity, and operational management.

Your Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a busy pub or high-volume venue

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a kitchen team

Strong computer and systems skills (ordering, rostering, stocktakes, reporting)

In-depth knowledge of food safety, compliance, and kitchen best practices

Creativity in menu design with an understanding of costings and profitability
