Commercial Marine Group (CMG) deliver a range of construction and occupational diving services, specialising in civil construction both onshore and offshore. Core projects include pile remediation and inspection services, but also extends to ROV operations, decommissioning, salvage, wharf/mooring maintenance, water asset & reservoir maintenance, scour protection and mooring services.

CMG employs up to ten diving teams nationally, the diving equipment utilisation is high and requires monthly servicing. All equipment maintained in accordance with IMCA PMS Systems.

We are seeking experienced Divers and Dive Supervisor to work ex-Fremantle. These roles will suit local applicants as no relocation or sponsorship is provided.

Divers

Divers should possess the following:

ADAS Part 2 minimum

Current First Aid & O2 Resus

Diver medical (AS2299.1 compliant, within 12 months)

Construction White Card

Current driver’s licence

Must Have Experience in wet welding

MSIC/ FPA inducted or willing and able to obtain

Can pass pre-employment D&A

Basic Rigging & Dogging

Dive Supervisors

We are seeking experienced Supervisors with a proven track record in managing dive teams on complex marine construction projects. Supervisors must have demonstrated experience in maintaining professional communication with Tier 1 clients, providing daily progress updates, and ensuring client expectations are met on site. The role requires the ability to represent the company in a professional manner during site meetings, toolbox talks, and inspections, while also escalating issues promptly to project management and working collaboratively with the client to resolve challenges. Candidates must be confident in managing project documentation, QA deliverables, and reports to ensure accurate and timely submission.

Dive Supervisors should possess the following:

ADAS Dive Supervisor qualification

Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in marine construction and diving operations

Strong knowledge of AS2299.1 and commercial diving safety

Coxswain G2

Experience in wet welding scope

MSIC/ FPA inducted or willing and able to obtain

Can pass pre-employment D&A

Desirables for Diver/Dive Supervisor:

MR drivers' licence

Tele Handler Experience

BP inducted

All personnel engaged on this project will be required to meet Fremantle Ports’ induction and compliance standards. This includes:

Completion of Fremantle Ports online induction prior to mobilisation.

Compliance with Fremantle Ports’ Work Health & Safety systems and marine operations requirements.

Adherence to strict Environmental Management and Emergency Response procedures.

All crew must carry valid identification and be able to obtain site access cards.

Vessels and dive operations will be subject to Fremantle Ports’ permitting system (hot work, diving, lifting).

Rates

Divers $66 per hour plus superannuation (PAYG only)

Dive Supervisors $80 per hour plus superannuation (PAYG only)
