Overview of the Role

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an on-site Civil Supervisor.

Your duties will involve but are not limited to:

Project Supervision Tasks

· Site Management

o Oversee site operations and ensure work is progressing according to the plan.

o Manage construction team & subcontractors.

o Allocate daily work tasks to crew members.

· Quality Control

o Monitor workmanship and adherence to specs and codes.

o Maintain quality records and testing logs.

o Interpret drawings, specifications, and civil engineering documentation.

· Safety Oversight

o Conduct daily site safety inspections.

o Ensure PPE usage and compliance with safety regulations.

o Investigate and report any incidents or near misses.

· Logistics & Coordination

o Schedule material deliveries and manage on-site storage.

o Organise Plant & Equipment requirements in consultation with Plant & Equipment Manager.

o Track equipment uses and maintenance.

o Resolve site issues/conflicts promptly.

o Anticipate material shortages/ deficiencies and relay to office staff.

· Documentation

o Maintain daily site reports (progress, delays, weather).

o Keep timesheets and attendance records.

o Update construction progress photos and logs.

o ITP sign offs.

Essential criteria

· Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor

· Intermediate level computer and technology-based skills

· Ability to solve problems and come up with solutions to client requirements

· Strong leadership qualities and ability to work in a team and unsupervised at times

· Willing to work away on rural project swings as required

Essential Requirements:

· White card

· National Police Clearance

· Current driver’s licence

· Tickets – HR, Excavator, Skidsteer, Roller, Rigging

· First Aid Certificate

· Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing

· Own personal hand and power tools (preferred)
