Roofing Supervisor (Tin & Tile) – Perth

Location: Perth metro (occasional regional day trips)

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Roofing Supervisor with strong experience across tin and tile, and expert knowledge of metal roofing (Colorbond/Zincalume). You'll run measure-ups for subcontractors, lead site visits with clients, diagnose and document leaks, and make sure jobs are delivered safely, on time, and to spec.

Key responsibilities

Measure-ups & scoping: Accurate site measures for subs; create clear scopes, take-offs, and material lists.

Leak diagnostics: Identify water ingress (flashings, penetrations, valley trays, box gutters, sarking, repointing, etc.); document with photos and simple reports.

Client & site management: Meet clients on site, set expectations, provide updates, handle variations, and manage sign-off/warranty.

Quality & safety: Lead toolbox talks, SWMS compliance, Working at Heights controls, QA checks, and final inspections.

Scheduling & coordination: Sequence trades (roof plumbers, scaffold, sparky/AC/solar) to keep jobs moving; minimise call-backs.

Reporting: Daily site notes, progress photos, and CRM updates; assist with quotes and post-job costing.

Basic smartphone proficiency required for completing daily site notes, progress photos, and CRM system updates.

What you'll bring (Essential)

4+ years roofing experience; strong tin/metal expertise (Corrugated, Trimdek, Klip-Lok; flashings, cappings, penetrations).

Competent with tile roofing fundamentals (re-bed/re-point, valley replacement, broken tile replacement).

Proven leak-finding ability and practical, buildable fixes.

Current White Card, Working at Heights (RIIWHS204E), manual driver's licence.

Strong safety mindset, tidy paperwork/photos, and clear client communication.

Ability to read plans, do basic take-offs, and use a laser measure/moisture meter.
