We are excited to build a new team in our new store in Auburn. We are looking for a skilled Retail Sales Auto Enthusiasts / Battery Sales Assistant’s with a drive for hitting the ground running! Our newest Western Syd store with an incredible range of products in all Auto, Camping, Motorcycle and Marine categories will be open for business next Month and will be busy from the start.

Our successful new team members will be happy to dive in and be ready to go where the job takes you on a day to day basis. You will have a keen interest in Automotive along with all the toys and gadgets that come with spending time in the great outdoors. With your developed knowledge, you will thrive in a role that is varied where no day is the same - fitting car batteries one minute, maintaining the cleanliness of the store, upkeeping stock on shelves, to finding solutions for customers to power up all manner of applications the next!

*This position is a fulltime role working a 7 x roster with some overtime requirements on a case by case basis.

Essential Requirements

· Minimum 1-2 years in a customer service role

· Working experience in an Mechanical, Automotive, Technical field or similar

· Class C Drivers Licence

· General Battery technology knowledge (Desirable)

· Experience in battery installation (An advantage)

· Excellent communication skills (and an upbeat approach)

· Average computer skills (Microsoft office & Software platforms)

· Excellent interpersonal skills (e.g. Active listening skills, quality questioning)

· Have a ‘can do’ and positive attitude and be able to work well with employees at all levels of our great business.
