We are seeking a talented and driven Urban Designer with 5+ years of experience to join the accomplished team in the Sydney studio of a globally recognized design firm. While this practice is famous for its world-class venue and arena design, this role focuses on expanding their growing capabilities in precinct planning, master planning, mixed-use developments, and large-scale urban strategies.

This is an opportunity for a creative and critical thinker with a background in urban design or mixed-use architecture to contribute to projects that shape communities and enhance user experience on a grand scale. Key Responsibilities

Contribute to all stages of the urban design process, from concept and precinct planning through to detailed delivery.

Develop and test design ideas with Rhino and Grasshopper, and create compelling design communications using Adobe Creative Cloud.

Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams, balancing independent initiative with effective teamwork.

Participate in design discussions, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to complex urban strategies and high-profile design competitions.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

A degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.

5+ years' professional experience in urban design or mixed-use architectural projects.

Proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper is essential.

Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Cloud for graphic storytelling and communication.

A strong design sensibility and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual outputs.

Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.

A collaborative, proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
