This PE backed, energy focused group is growing 50% year on year. They work primarily across commercial markets, with growth leading to the creation of this role to work alongside a Senior Analyst in the team.

You will play a central role in:

• Configuring, refining and testing current models for pricing, market trends, competitor analysis and financial performance of the group
• Challenging, testing and ensuring the validity of models via scenario analysis
• Provide commercially prudent recommendations that will ensure revenue, margins and profitability for individual agreements, and across the group.
• Build and support financial and project models for new business opportunities
• Provide insights to support customer proposals and presentations
• Contribute to reporting, forecasting and process improvements

Your input will lead to accurate and commercially prudent recommendations and decisions.

To be successful, you will have a solid base of commercial modelling skills, preferably with Python and SQL, either gained in industry, or via a professional service environment that has a heavy modelling component. These skills will be complemented by clear and confident communication skills, as this role has a lot of visibility and interaction with the sales and finance teams. A collaborative environment, ideal for someone who wants to make their mark in a growing business.

Once up to speed, three days minimum in their fresh CBD office will be required (very close to Flinders Street Station). Remuneration shall be circa $120 - $130k+ super pending experience.
