Working within the Hospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals Nth team at DHHS, you'll provide essential nursing support across various departments, stepping in where needed to ensure continuous, quality patient care. Your adaptability and clinical skills will be valued as you work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a supportive environment.

Beaconsfield District Health Service:
- We are located in the historical town of Beaconsfield, a scenic 45 minutes’ drive from Launceston. National Parks, beaches and historical sites are all within a short drive from the town.

What You'll Do
- Deliver compassionate patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses
- Assist with medication administration and clinical procedures
- Support patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort needs
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adapt quickly to different ward environments and patient populations
What We're Looking For
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
- Previous hospital experience preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, shift worker (fully rotational) position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Regional Allowances:
- Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines)
