Miroma Incorporated has a vacancy for a Casual Disability Support Worker whose responsibilities will include providing direct care to participants, primarily with an intellectual disability, fostering independence and assisting with daily living including personal hygiene support. This person will also assist in facilitating a participants community participation, is responsible for administering medications and must have flexibility to work across a 24/7 day week roster including passive overnights.

It would be desirable if the Disability Support Worker would be experienced in understanding and supporting a participant with Positive Behaviour Support strategies, which have been developed by a Practitioner to assist in improving the participants quality of life.
