Based in the North-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Expedition Partners is a trusted and reputable travel company that has been in business for over twenty years.
Now specializing in expedition cruises (Arctic, Antarctica, Kimberley, etc), and expedition rail (Africa, Silk Road, Australia, Europe, India) itineraries, our passionate team of professionals aim to assist our clients with creating their dream holiday experience.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis during a new period of rapid growth. Opportunities for both full time and part time roles.

We are an exclusively office-only environment with no storefront and/or walk-in clients
Consistent Monday — Friday hours (9:30am - 5:30pm), with no weekends or late nights (apart from occasional functions) to champion a healthy work/life balance
Part-time flexibility (minimum 22.5 hours) available for the right candidate (remote work considered for country Vic or inter-state applicants);

With us, your main focus will be communicating with our customers via telephone and e-mail, and working cooperatively with our administration team, clients, and domestic/international partners.
Key deliverables include but are not limited to:
First point of contact for prospects contacting the company
Respond promptly to customer enquiries, listen to clients wants and advise about suitable options in line with their budget and preferences whilst building rapport
Follow up enquiries and help overcome prospects concerns and objections
Make travel bookings
Liaise with our off-shore support team to ensure bookings are administered efficiently
Build and maintain relationships with our key suppliers
Remain up-to-date on our core destinations and travel products
Our ideal team member
Personable and friendly with a natural ability to connect with clients and suppliers from diverse backgrounds
Prior experience in a sales environment and the ability to achieve target goals from a commercial mindset
Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience required
Able to manage time and prioritize tasks appropriately
Tech savvy, with the ability to familiarize and then utilize new and established digital systems
A natural team player with a desire to assist where needed
Travel industry experience preferred but not essential
Australian work rights required
