Role Highlights

• Provide specialist income tax advice, with a focus on State and Territory stamp duty matters for major corporate and private clients
• Support corporate restructures, asset sales and due diligence on high-value transactions
• Draft and review transaction documentation, liaising with revenue authorities on rulings, exemptions and compliance issues
• Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated, commercial solutions to clients

About You

• 8+ years’ PQE, ideally in a top-tier law firm or Big 4 environment with private practice exposure
• Proven expertise in Australian tax law and a working knowledge of stamp duty legislation
• Strong commercial judgment, analytical skills and the ability to provide clear, practical advice to senior stakeholders
• Experienced managing multiple high-profile projects and deadlines, with excellent client-facing skills
• Collaborative, proactive, and capable of thriving in a technically demanding environment
