Exciting opportunity to join the Government Relations Team within Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport
Clerk Grade 9/10 role with a salary range of $129,464 - $142,665 per annum plus superannuation
Ongoing and temporary opportunities based in Sydney NSW - hybrid working arrangements may be available within business operational needs
About the role

The Department and its portfolio agencies are creating social and economic opportunities across the creative, visitor and night-time economies, prioritising First Nations artists, stories and culture, and ensuring arts, culture and sport are at the heart of every community to be enjoyed and accessed by all.
These key roles take a lead in delivering high-quality Cabinet, Ministerial and Parliamentary operations, policy and project work for the Department, undertaking problem solving and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage the effective coordination and delivery of advice and support services for Ministers and their offices.
About You
You will have a demonstrated ability to understand complex issues and policies, solve problems and communicate with diverse stakeholders, thinking critically to ensure the team delivers a wide range of high-quality Cabinet, Ministerial or Parliamentary advice, services and projects.
You have an understanding of Parliamentary and Cabinet processes, the Westminster system, the NSW legislative framework, and the delivery of services and associated systems and processes.
You have well-developed organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a small team environment delivering to tight deadlines. The roles will be assigned to work in a specific team but may be required to temporarily support other teams within Government Relations, as required.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment supporting key government decision-making and accountability processes.
