Samuel Gilbert Out of School Hours Care is community-based service located within the beautiful grounds of Samuel Gilbert Public School. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Coordinator to join our leadership team.

About Our Service

· Community-based, not-for-profit, purpose-built service operating for over 35 years.

· Supported by a proactive and engaged school P&C.

· Licensed for 60 children each morning and 160 children each afternoon.

About the Position

· Part-time or full-time role (30–38 hours per week, negotiable).

· Shifts: Before school (7am–9am) and after school (2pm–6pm).

· Support the Centre Manager with daily operations.

· Mentor, guide, and train staff.

· Plan and facilitate intentional and spontaneous experiences aligned with the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place framework.

· Act as the Responsible Person when required.

What You Will Need

· Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care, Diploma in Out of School Hours Care, Diploma in Children’s Services, Early Childhood qualification, or Teacher qualification.

· Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check

· Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management (HLTAID012) certificate

· Child Protection accreditation

· Knowledge of and experience with the National Child Safe Standards.

· Previous leadership experience highly regarded.

· Strong professional communication skills.

· Food Handling Basics Training
