We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented NDIS Quality Officer to join our team and help ensure our services consistently meet and exceed the standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Reporting to the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Manager, this role plays a vital part in supporting internal and external audit processes, driving policy development, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across all business units. You’ll work closely with managers and frontline teams to embed a culture of quality, safety, and innovation, while ensuring compliance with legislative and accreditation requirements.
This is a full time role based in Albury. Local travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit & Accreditation Support: Drive internal audits and support external accreditation to ensure our services meet NDIS standards—collaborating across teams for real impact.
- Quality & Continuous Improvement Committee (QCIC Aspire): Coordinate and contribute to quality committee meetings that foster learning, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Quality Management System (QMS) & Policy Support: Help maintain and evolve our Quality Management System and policies—supporting teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and person-centred services.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear, timely reports and share insights that keep leadership informed and teams aligned with NDIS compliance and best practice.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate IV or higher in Disability Services, Community Services, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in NDIS service delivery or compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous experience working within SIL homes and day programs will be highly regarded.
- Experience supporting accreditation or audit processes.(desirable)
