The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to become a pivotal part of the advisory process — someone who can confidently own the technical function, partner with advisers, and play an influential role in coordinating the full lifecycle of advice implementation. You will work closely with a HNW portfolio, including trusts, SMSFs, family groups, and business owners, ensuring strategies are technically robust, compliant, and tailored to complex client needs. Service clients in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane.

The Role

• Collaborate with advisers to design and model sophisticated strategies for HNW clients.
• Attend and contribute to client meetings as a technical expert and trusted second point of contact.
• Oversee preparation of elite SOAs, ROAs, and documentation exceeding compliance standards.
• Drive process improvements and system optimisation to streamline operations.
• Maintain technical knowledge and regulatory expertise to ensure best practice.
• Actively mentor and uplift junior paraplanners to enhance overall team capability.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Financial Planning, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ paraplanning or strategy-focused experience, ideally with HNW clients.
• Strong ability to interpret complex structures and develop advanced strategies.
• Proficient in Xplan, with a passion for driving efficiency and innovation.
• Detail-oriented, commercially aware, and confident in engaging with discerning clients.
• Proactive leader who wants to own the technical function, not just produce SOAs.
