Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plastics Technician to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery used in the manufacture of plastics products. This role is critical to ensuring the efficiency of our operations and the quality of our output.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up dies and prepare line-changing equipment to produce plastic products.

Adjust machinery to switch between different product specifications.

Operate and manage machine start-up and shut-down procedures.

Monitor and record machine conditions, including heat, pressure, and vacuum levels.

Ensure products meet design specifications and conduct quality control checks.

Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to maintain product standards.

Fabricate and design equipment as needed.

Perform repairs and coordinate maintenance for machinery.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Plastics Technician or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of plastics manufacturing machinery and processes.

Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and process-related issues.

Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methods.

Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics, engineering, or plastics technology will be highly regarded.
