A dynamic design studio with a national presence is looking for a passionate and talented Interior Designer or Senior Interior Designer to join their budding team in Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a practice known for its work across hospitality and education projects, with a particular focus on shaping the interiors offering in their Sydney studio. They’re looking for someone who’s a self-starter, a confident communicator, and eager to jump into all aspects of project delivery. Key Responsibilities

Lead or support end-to-end interior design projects from concept through to delivery

Prepare and present project briefs, fee proposals, and documentation

Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and consultants

Act as a primary client contact on projects, maintaining strong relationships

Coordinate with architects, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery

Participate in regular design reviews and quality assurance processes

Mentor junior designers and contribute to studio development (Senior level)

Ensure compliance with building codes, sustainability goals, and regulatory standards

Contribute to the development of studio systems and internal processes

Skills & Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design/ Interior Architecture (or equivalent qualification)

Ideally 5+ years of professional experience (Senior level ideally)

Demonstrated experience in hospitality and/or education projects

Strong skills in concept development, space planning, detailing, and documentation

Proficient in Revit (essential)

Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to clients

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently

Strong knowledge of building codes and technical standards

Experience managing teams or mentoring designers (Senior level)

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
