Responsibilities

Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on light and commercial vehicles

Conduct logbook servicing and safety inspections (including RWC if certified)

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues

Carry out brake, suspension, clutch, and cooling system repairs

Operate workshop equipment such as scan tools, tyre changers, and alignment machines

Work collaboratively with the team and ensure high standards of safety and quality

Skills and Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a qualified automotive mechanic

Trade Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

Proficiency with modern scan tools and workshop equipment

Basic computer skills for accessing technical information and job management systems

Experience with diagnostic equipment and modern vehicle systems

Current Driver's Licence (essential)

Motor Vehicle Repairer's Certificate

Air conditioning licence (desirable but not essential)

Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa)
