Once again, we are further expanding our team,

JK Mobile Auto has been servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles throughout Metro Melbourne for over 7 years. We are a mobile service, with the benefit of a workshop in Mordialloc, meaning that your workday is as varied as the vehicles that you will get to work on!

Our mission is to transform society’s perception of the automotive industry by removing the ulterior ‘motive’ from automotive by providing a superior quality service to every vehicle and owner, wherever they are and whatever their problem.

What we need

Our calendars are booked out two weeks in advance - we are highly sought after and need more hands-on deck to help us assist our growing customer base.

We need a qualified, highly skilled light vehicle mechanic with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues. This could look like:

Qualified (Certificate III) in Light Vehicle Automotive as a minimum requirement (applications without this will not be considered)

Specialisation (e.g. automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment) will be highly advantageous

A minimum of 6 years of experience post apprenticeship

Demonstrated knowledge of automotive systems and components

Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively

Proven trouble shooting and diagnostics skills and attention to detail - thinking outside of the box is essential

Clear communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and without supervision - this role will involve working alongside an apprentice

Strong work ethic and reliability

Punctual and well organised

Genuine passion for the automotive industry and willingness to learn

Must hold a current Victorian driver's license with no restrictions

Full working rights

Having RWC testing license or A/C handling license would be highly advantageous (but not essential)
