The opportunity:
Our Membership Consultants (MC) at the Southport centre play a vital role in establishing and nurturing a vibrant membership base at Avanti Health Centre. As the first point of contact for prospective members, MCs inspire individuals to embark on their journey to long-lasting wellness with us.
The role of an MC is multifaceted, with two main objectives: driving membership growth through proactive sales efforts and ensuring the satisfaction of existing members by providing exceptional "keep as member" service. MCs are well-versed in all aspects of Avanti, seamlessly transitioning between sales and lead generation, delivering outstanding service at the reception desk, and actively engaging with current members to improve their overall experience and boost member retention.
Responsibilities:
Drive membership pre-sales working closely with Avanti national sales team and an experienced third party marketing team.
Actively contribute to achieving the club's sales budget by implementing effective sales promotions and referral campaigns
Generate and convert high-quality sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals, and identifying new business opportunities
Deliver compelling sales presentations and tours to potential members
Ensure exceptional member experiences through positive and personalized interactions
Engage in member retention programs to motivate and support members in their fitness journey
Conduct regular service calls to both new and current members to maintain their commitment to their fitness journey
About you:
Ability to build rapport with our members/leads who are over 50
Gym membership experience advantagous.
Gymsales software experience advantagous.
The ability to solve problems, and overcome obstacles
Outstanding communication abilities - you need to be able to listen and be patient
A natural drive to achieve and go over and above individual targets and team goals
Member-focused with a desire to achieve exceptional member outcomes
