We are calling for applications from suitably qualified teachers who are passionate about joining the Genesis teaching community and possess a deep understanding of and experience in Learning Support. Experience in case management, NCCD and differentiation for diverse learning needs is advantageous.

This is a 0.4FTE (two days per week) 1 year (maternity cover) contract position, beginning in January 2026.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

QCT Registration (or eligibility)

Demonstrated Teaching experience

Knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices and assessment strategies appropriate to secondary schooling

Familiarity with the QCAA syllabuses

First Aid Certification

Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work proactively within a collaborative teaching team

An active Christian faith.

In addition, you will have a commitment to the aims of an Independent Christian School, quality customer service skills when interacting with parents and the wider community and the ability to develop, write and edit quality reports.
