About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to provide administration, reporting and operational support to our Inventory Planner. This role is critical in ensuring data accuracy, timely processing of stock requirements and the smooth execution of daily inventory tasks.
You will play a key part in entering and maintaining SKU and inventory data in MYOB, assisting with purchase orders and supplier documentation, monitoring stock levels, and supporting production runs with accurate information. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and an analytical mindset are essential, along with the ability to make confident decisions when liaising with factories and to build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibility Areas
Data and Systems Administration
Enter and maintain new SKUs, product codes and stock data in MYOB
Keep system information up to date with accuracy and attention to detail
Generate and distribute standardised inventory and purchasing reports
Order and Shipment Support
Assist with preparation of purchase orders and supplier documentation, rack and record shipment statuses, updating delivery schedules in the system, flag discrepancies or delays to the Inventory Planner
Inventory Control
Monitor daily stock levels and highlight anomalies or shortages
Assist with stock counts, reconciliations and variance reporting
Maintain accurate documentation of all stock movements
Production and Operational Support
Support multiple simultaneous production runs with SKU setup, labels and documentation
Check accuracy of work before submission for Planner review
Provide accurate administration support to ensure smooth execution of operational tasks
Continuous Learning and Improvement
Support implementation of process improvements led by the Inventory Planner
Develop foundational skills in forecasting and planning
Demonstrate initiative to learn and grow into more advanced responsibilities
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Inventory data is accurate, reliable, and up to date
Orders and shipments are processed smoothly and on time
Stock levels are actively monitored, with issues flagged early
Production runs are fully supported with correct documentation
Analytical skills are applied to improve processes and reporting
Strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders are built and maintained
About You
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including intermediate formulas and reporting
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Confidence to make independent decisions when liaising with factories
Strong relationship and communication skills
Experience with MYOB Advanced or similar ERP systems (desirable)
Prior experience in an inventory, supply chain, or administration role is highly regarded
