We are now recruiting for a dedicated person to join our multidisciplinary team and work within a supportive community focused organisation. as an Aboriginal Foster Care support Worker
This opportunity would suit someone with the relevant background and experience in foster care support work who is looking for role in Kempsey NSW
Key responsibilities:
Provide culturally appropriate support to Aboriginal children and young people in foster care
Work closely with foster carers to ensure they have the tools and guidance needed to provide quality care
Advocate for the rights and wellbeing of Aboriginal children in care
Facilitate connection to culture, community, and Country
Collaborate with caseworkers, families, and community organisations
Assist in the recruitment, training, and retention of Aboriginal foster carers
