About the role

SMK CIVIL is seeking a skilled 6t Combo Operator to join our team on a casual basis, based in Burpengary East, Queensland. As a 6t Combo Operator, you will play a vital role in being self motivated and assisting clients needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in excavating trenches for electrical conduit install

What you'll be doing

Operate a 6t combo machine to carry out a variety of construction tasks such as trenching excavation, loading, and site clearing

Conduct pre-start checks and minor maintenance on the equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Work closely with the site team to complete tasks efficiently and to the required standards

Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations

Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 3years' experience as a 6t Combo Operator in the construction industry

Valid construction equipment operator's license and/or relevant certifications

Strong knowledge of construction equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures

Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues

Commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible work environment
