About the role

Blackhawk Earthmoving are looking for an experienced Excavator/Combo Operator to join our team. The applicant must have relevant tickets and a HR license. The role offers the flexibility of casual work, allowing you to balance your professional commitments with your personal life.

What you'll be doing

Successfully operate excavators and pozitracks and complete various tasks on job sites safely and effectively

Perform routine maintenance and pre-start checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Work collaboratively with the construction team to ensure efficient and timely completion of project milestones

Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators and pozitracks

Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction and civil environment

Must be able to work independently and within clients guidance where required

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing work conditions

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with the construction team

Relevant licences and certificates, including a valid HR driver's licence and construction industry white/blue card

Must be mechanically minded and help provide preventative maintenance
