Your new role

As a Trade Assistant, you will play a vital hands-on role supporting the delivery of high-quality tiling and stonework projects across residential and commercial sites. Working closely with experienced tradespeople, you will assist in site preparation, material handling, basic installation tasks, and maintaining a safe, organised work environment. A key responsibility will include towing a trailer and managing the pick-up and delivery of materials to and from project sites, ensuring workflow efficiency and timely completion of jobs. This position directly contributes to the company's reputation for precision and reliability, helping projects run smoothly, meet deadlines, and uphold the high standards clients expect. You will be part of a collaborative team where accountability and attention to detail are highly valued, with opportunities to learn specialised skills in tiling, waterproofing, and stonework under expert guidance. What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a trade assistant or in a construction-related role
• Ability to safely tow and manoeuvre a trailer for site requirements
• Competence in picking up, loading, transporting, and delivering materials to and from sites
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of qualified tradespeople
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn tiling, waterproofing, and stonework techniques
• Current driver's licence
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
