Your new role
As a Trade Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality joinery projects by assisting qualified tradespeople across both workshop and on-site environments. The position is predominantly workshop-based, involving hands-on preparation, assembly, and finishing of joinery components, as well as maintaining a safe and organised workspace. From time to time, you will also support site installation, contributing to seamless project delivery and ensuring client expectations are met. This role directly supports the company's goal of maintaining its reputation for precision and craftsmanship, while also fostering efficiency and teamwork across projects. Working closely with tradespeople and project leads, you will gain exposure to a variety of techniques and materials, contributing to the successful completion of bespoke residential and commercial fit-outs. Your contribution will not only support the team's productivity but also enhance the client experience through consistent, high-quality outcomes.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a trade assistant or workshop support role
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Willingness to assist with both workshop tasks and site installations
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of qualified tradespeople
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to team success
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
