We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Workshop Foremen/Senior Technician to join our busy workshop in Geelong to compliment our various shifts.

Our workshop manages maintenance and repairs of various trucks, trailers and other vehicles. Specialising in Isuzu Trucks, Iveco and Ssanyong vehicles, we offer an endless variety of work and vast opportunities to further learn and develop your skills.

To be successful in this role you must have proven experience within an Heavy Diesel/Automotive workshop. You will need to be dedicated and strive to improve your knowledge and performance each and every day.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the workshop foreman will help ensure the operations are maintained to a high standard. Our team of diesel technicians are responsible for the professional maintenance and repairs of trucks, trailers and equipment across various manufacturers.

The primary duties of the role will include:

Supervising the repair, replace, maintain and testing of a high volume of company vehicles and related mechanical and electrical components.
Ensuring all the staff members in the workshop are completing work in a safe and efficient manner in line with company standards.
Supervise servicing of vehicles in line with company servicing requirements
Accurate completion of paperwork and systems associated with all elements of vehicle maintenance and repair
Supervise all staff on the floor with 80% floor based work and 20% office work
Support breakdown phone calls where required

The candidate we are looking for will have:

Trade qualifications
Industry Knowledge & Experience
Experience with Trucks & trailers (Isuzu preferred)
Proven competence as a Workshop Supervisor
HR Licence Min.
Sound computer knowledge/skills
Lead, demonstrate and educate employees to embrace a safe & productive work environment.
Excellent problem solving and planning skills
