We are Queensland’s largest hunger relief charity. Our vision is a Queensland without hunger.

We believe that access to healthy food is a basic human right. Each week, we support 135,000 Queenslanders in crisis and provide breakfast to 52,000 children each school week. We work in collaboration with 350 Community Partners and 430 Schools. Alongside food relief, we rescue surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, reducing landfill and protecting the environment. We’re also focused on long-term change, partnering with communities to build fairer, more resilient local food systems.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our Townsville team. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll help with the day-to-day running of the warehouse and assist with deliveries and collections in the local area. This role is hands-on, working with staff and volunteers to keep things moving smoothly and safely

What you’ll do:

• Replenish stock – keep products organised, rotated, and stored correctly.
• Pick and pack orders – accurately and on time.
• Assist with daily warehouse tasks – loading and unloading trucks (manual and forklift), receiving and storing stock, and keeping the warehouse tidy.
• Drive deliveries and collections – local Townsville area.
• Follow safety standards – WHS, HACCP food safety, and Chain of Responsibility rules.
• Use our inventory system – Pronto, with future RF scanner use.

Who You Are

• At least 3 years’ experience in warehousing or a similar role.
• Forklift licence (high-reach preferred).
• HR truck licence.
• Experience with ERP or inventory systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift 15–25kg.
• Knowledge of WHS, HACCP, and Chain of Responsibility.
• Experience leading or coordinating volunteers is a bonus but not essential.
