The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a casual pastry chef to join our team in Essendon. For the right candidate, the role has the potential to become full time. It will suit a passionate chef with HACCP knowledge. We are happy to provide all necessary training, but experience in a similar environment will be advantageous.

Tasks & responsibilities

Bake inclusions and make ripples

Prepare gelato inserts for gelato cakes, assemble and decorate

Prepare chocolate decorations

Work closely with head chef and provide support and assistance to all daily operations.

To maintain current HACCP and associated programs

Able to work in a fast pace dynamic environment and maintain deadlines.

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience (at least 2 years) working in a fast and dynamic environment.

Great time management and attention to detail.

Ability to maintain high and consistent standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Can add to our great team culture.
