Licensed Electrician – Hills District Electricians

Hills District Electricians is a professional electrical contracting business servicing the Sydney Hills District and surrounding regions. We specialise in residential maintenance, Level 2 services, and civil electrical works. Our focus is on delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes for our clients.

We are seeking a Licensed Electrician to join our team. The position offers exposure to a broad range of electrical and associated civil works, with the opportunity to represent a respected local business and build a long-term career.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking residential, Level 2, and civil electrical works. This includes installation, repair, fault finding, and maintenance across a variety of sites. The role requires the ability to work independently, meet compliance standards, and maintain a professional approach to client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Power-point and lighting installations

Switchboard upgrades and replacements

Fault finding and emergency call-outs

Consumer mains installations and upgrades (Level 2)

Service and defect rectifications

General residential wiring and maintenance

Civil works, including trenching, conduit installation, and underground cabling

Pole installations and replacements (private and supply authority compliant)

Liaising with supply authorities and ensuring compliance with NSW Service & Installation Rules

Site safety management and adherence to WHS requirements

Qualifications and Skills

Current NSW Electrical Licence

Experience in residential maintenance and Level 2 works

Knowledge of civil works, excavation, or underground services (preferred but not essential)

Strong focus on compliance, safety, and quality assurance

Ability to manage tasks independently as well as within a team

Good communication and organisational skills

Professional presentation and reliability

Sales or client advisory skills will be viewed favourably
