Norganic Proteins operates a unique processing facility at the base of the Glass House Mountains QLD. Family owned and operated and looking for new members to join our current team of dedicated work members. Providing the local businesses with a way of value adding their Protein material.

We are looking for people who are looking to settle down and ideally enter a steady work environment, with the options of additional hours around a balance work/life rotation. 12 hour shifts (minimizing travel time to and from work, offering 4 days off each week).

The company operates on a six day working week, with shifts covering from Monday 6am to Saturday 6pm. Each shift has a minimum of 2 people onsite and is a rolling roster over a 6 week period with the roster rotating at the end of every 2nd week .

Working shift roosters

Either 3 x 12hrs shifts or 4 x 12hr shifts, rotating rooster with a six-week rotation plan following the below

6am to 6pm (days) and 6pm to 6am (nights)

Days (2 weeks),

Nights (2 weeks),

Splitter 1 night and 2 or 3 days (2 weeks) which includes a Saturday day shift.

With weekly pay.

Q-fever vaccination or willing to get due to the meat works requirements in QLD

We are ideally looking for people who can work autonomously with another team member, has had experience in Protein Rendering facilities or is interested in working in this type of industry which is leading the way in sustainability and renewable energy (biodiesel). Responsible for the operation and maintenance of our Rendering Plant including monitoring of equipment and general cleaning duties.

Responsibilities include:

Current forklift license (we can assist if required)

Ability to work autonomously.

Sound computer knowledge

Technical\mechanically minded

A professional work attitude.

The ability to work a rotating roster on morning and evening shifts

Highly focused with great attention to detail

Coal Boiler operation (ticket would be ideal but we can assist)

In return, Norganic Proteins offers:

Full Time rate starting at $33.50/ hour
