About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail Store Manager to join the Mount Isa Optical Team. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience. What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including dispensing to patients, inventory management, staff scheduling, and budgeting

Provide excellent customer service and ensure the store meets sales targets

Lead, motivate and develop a team of retail associates, providing coaching and training as needed

Implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive store traffic and sales

Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising to brand standards

Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations

Analyse store performance data and identify opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a retail Store Manager or in a similar leadership role

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to create a positive shopping experience

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills

Proficient in inventory management, budgeting, and data analysis

Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets

Flexible and adaptable to change, with a solutions-focused mindset

Knowledge of the retail industry and consumer trends in the Optometry sector
