Experienced Engineering Surveyor – Civil Projects (Hobart & Launceston)

We are an established surveying company delivering high-quality services on a wide range of civil projects across Tasmania. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate may be based in either Hobart or Launceston, with travel allowance provided for statewide projects.

About the Role

This role is primarily field-based, with flexible working hours. Proficiency with Trimble equipment is essential, along with the ability to produce calculations, reports, and documentation in the office.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out set-out surveys for civil construction projects.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient delivery.

Operate Trimble equipment and advanced surveying technology for precise measurements.

Prepare detailed reports, plans, and maps for project planning and development.

Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Quantity calculation and reporting

Must-Have Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Surveying AND minimum 2 years’ industry experience.

Strong proficiency with Trimble equipment and related survey technology.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
