McArthur is seeking experienced candidates across multiple EL1 vacancies within the Policy & Research Division of our Federal Government client. Our client provides services that support both veterans and their surrounding families.

As an EL1 Change Manager, you will be responsible for change management activities, including assessments, plans and business readiness.

• Plan, execute and oversee change management activities, including
• Implement the endorsed change management framework
• Complete change management and business readiness assessments
• Lead, coordinate and manage change management activities
• Identify the risks associated with the change and develop mitigation strategies
• Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
• Support the development of change related communications in consultation with stakeholders
• Evaluate the success of change management initiatives.

As an EL1 Project Manager, will be responsible for mapping, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on implementation activities, risks, issues and benefits.

• Define and manage project deliverables, schedule, benefits, financials, risks, issues and dependencies in alignment with the DVA project management framework
• Delivery of project outcomes within schedule, financial and quality parameters
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to manage expectations and dependencies to ensure successful delivery of the project
• Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders
• Manage project documentation and registers

As an EL1 Trainer, you will be responsible for developing training packages and facilitating training for veteran advocates and DVA staff.

As an EL1 Assistant Director, will provide support across three branches including Health & Wellbeing Policy, Benefits Policy & Research and Evaluation & Privacy.

• Work independently, with limited supervision, to progress agreed objectives and projects.
• Build collaborative relationships with key jurisdictional representatives to agree and progress priorities in relation to veteran incarceration.
• Provide secretariat support to an inter-jurisdictional committee.
• Gather and analyse data and research to develop robust advice on relevant policy issues.
• Draft ministerial and senior executive briefings, reports, Ministerial correspondence, meeting papers and discussion papers.
• Support the team with requests for information, administration, media monitoring and coordination.
• Support DVA's response to the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide.
