About the role

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team at Marshall Mobile Welding in Longreach, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in the fabrication, repair and maintenance of a wide range of metal products and structures. As a Boilermaker, you will utilise your expertise to deliver high-quality work that meets the needs of our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to fabricate, repair and maintain a variety of metal products and structures

Operating a range of welding equipment and tools to join, shape and assemble metal components

Performing quality checks and making adjustments to ensure all work meets required standards

Collaborating with the wider team to find efficient solutions to complex technical challenges

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, following all relevant safety protocols

Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Boilermaking or equivalent trade certificate

Extensive experience as a Boilermaker, ideally in the Trades & Services industry

Proficiency in a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG and stick welding

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
