About the role

Arena Engineering is looking for a hardworking and efficient Boilermaker to join our team. This is a full-time role, providing you the opportunity to complete your apprenticeship with our highly experienced and proficient team, or continue to expand your skills and knowledge with a constant flow of various big and small projects, ranging from Bridge and Railway fabrication to machinery and contraptions used in the mining industry.

What you'll be doing

Perform a wide range of Boilermaking tasks, including fabrication, welding, prepping, installation, repair and maintenance of various metal structures, such as, Vessels, Railway components, Bridges and other industrial equipment

Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and specifications to complete projects to the highest quality standard

Utilise a range of tools and machinery to cut, shape, join and assemble metal components

Work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills

What we're looking for

Currently undertaking a Boilermaking apprenticeship, or have already completed your apprenticeship

Strong work ethic and practical skills, with a keen interest in metalwork and fabrication

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Ability to work safely and autonomously

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Strong willingness to listen, learn and take constructive criticism
