Bourke & District Children’s Services (BDCS) is a values-driven, community-focused not-for-profit providing Preschool, Childcare, Mobile Playgroup, and OSHC across Western NSW. The Role
This is a unique leadership opportunity to establish and lead a brand-new After School Care (OSHC) service while contributing across BDCS programs. Reporting to the General Manager, you will shape the service from the ground up, supported by an experienced, collaborative team.
Key responsibilities:
Launch and oversee a new OSHC service
Lead and mentor a team of educators
Design and deliver engaging programs aligned with NQF, EYLF, and MTOP
Manage enrolments, budgets, and compliance requirements
Build strong relationships with families and the community
About You
You are a proactive, resilient leader with a passion for children’s development and community engagement.
You will bring:
ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
Eligibility as Nominated Supervisor
3–5+ years’ leadership in early childhood or OSHC
Current First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection training
Strong knowledge of CCS, WHS, and compliance frameworks
(Working With Children Check, Criminal History Check, and driver’s licence required.)
