Job Title: Agile Scrum Master (6-Month Contract, with the possibility of extension)
Location: Sydney, Australia (Must be Sydney-based)
Daily Rate: Up to $1100 inclusive of superannuation

Looking for an experienced and certified Agile Scrum Master to join the dynamic team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Remove impediments and obstacles to enhance team productivity and ensure successful sprint delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and Scrum framework.
• Work closely with Product Owners to prioritise and groom the product backlog.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as a Certified Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Agile and Scrum certifications are required; additional certifications are a bonus.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects using Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proven experience working for a financial organisation or insurance company
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Onboarding Requirements:

• Candidates must possess full Permanent Residency (PR) or Citizenship for onboarding.
• Availability to attend the Sydney office three times a week is mandatory.

Location and Contract Details: This position requires the candidate to be Sydney-based. The daily rate for this role is up to $1100 inclusive of superannuation. The initial contract is for 6 months, with the potential for extension based on project needs and individual performance.
