The Role

As a senior financial accountant, you will be responsible for managing and leading month end activities, working with senior operational stakeholders within the business. Reporting into the financial controller you will be:

• Preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Manage month end processes - with an eye for creating efficiencies and automations
• Work with senior stakeholders in operations to create new reports, and relevant key commercial insights into actuals vs budget
• BAS, Tax, FBT,
• Inventory accounting, month end reporting, reconciliations
• Supporting year-end audits, external stakeholder engagement, and system/process improvements.

Your Profile

You are a motivated and detail-oriented accountant, eager to broaden your experience in an ASX listed environment. You will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience in accounting, audit, with FMCG or inventory experience highly desired
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
