What we are looking for
We have a long term construction maintenance project with a Tier 1 mining company
We are seeking a Site Administrator to help support the on-site project team with administrative duties
The project is located around the Newman area
This role is FIFO 2:1 (two weeks on, one week off) flying from Perth and involves working 12 hours a day on site
Duties will include:
Provide project administrative support, answer telephone calls and respond to emails
Receive roster and crew updates and communicate changes to supervisors and individuals
Process travel, accommodation and car hire requests to align with rosters and ad hoc requests
Work with accounts and procurement to ensure smooth travel processing and vendor invoices
Assist crews with paperwork requirements
Raise purchase orders in line with company procedures
Assist with site mobilisation, using client site access software
Assist others in the team during periods of leave and high workloads
Requirements for this Role
We are seeking experienced candidates with the following:
Proof of working rights in Australia i.e. Passport, Birth Certificate
Current Australian Driver's License
Must have administration experience
Ideally have FIFO experience
Ideally have experience working with mobilisation systems for BHP, FMG, Rio Tinto etc.
Must be WA based
A positive, self-motivated team player
Enjoys variety and strives to continually learn
Adaptable with “can do” attitude
Excellent attention to details and time management
Down to earth with the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with site-based crews, clients and office-based employees
Competent in the use of the full Microsoft office suite
Be well presented and able to pass a Pre-employment medical - Including Drug and Alcohol Screen
